In theory, yes this will increase your mileage but typically not by a noticeable amount.

im thinkin im gonna keep the thing. give it a little tlc. new weatherstripping,new springs, new tires,

yeah man i love the car, never wanted to get rid of it. but i cant afford to fix her up the way id like. slowly but surely i will tho
