I was driving down the road a few minutes ago and my Security randomly came on, any ideas?

Shut the car off and start it again. Does it come back on? If not, don't worry about it lol. Camaros like to scare you like that then all of the sudden, the problem will go away and never come back. They have a mind of their own

 

Yah, it started right back up. Kinda weird.

 

Did you car die when the security light came on? Did the security light come on when you started it again?

 

Is your key so worn that it can slide out of the ignition while the switch is still in the on position?

 

@ Chaotic94 - It didn't die. It came on after 15 mins of driving.
@ Camaro69 - It has a little play in it, but not enough to slide out.
