Default Rocker question

has anyone had any problems when having a 1.7 , 1.8 or 1.9 ratio rockers for their 3.8 ???

i dont know where to find specs on my camaro to check the piston valve ratios and i was just wondering if it would have problems if i used higher then a 1.6

thanks

Changing the rocker is changing the lift and basicly like changing the cam. You can anly improve so much with stock intake and heads. You also have to look for if you have rail guided rockers and will the higher ratio rockers clear your valve springs.

well high ratio rockers + cam is not good

no cam...go 1.9 Rockers w/ LS6 springs or similar...

as for cam...lower ratio rockers

no im not gettin a cam

but ya thats what i was worried about is if i buy to high of a ratio then ill have trouble with my valve springs being off timeing

i would think that going from a 1.6 rocker to a 1.9 rocker would be too much on the cam and throw the piston tovalve off

true? or will i be ok with 1.9 rockers?
