so can i use shcs in 5/16 18 2 inch for rocker arm bolts? They are grade 8. they look indentical to the ones comp sells. i found them at true value only diff between the tty and these is they dont have the thread less bottom tip does that matter? and should i stay with torque spec from book or give them a few extra lbs? If it matters Im bolting on series 3 heads from a 08 grand prix

 

Just get reusable bolts form zzp or intense racing, there cheaper than the tty and there 22-23 ft lbs.
