Default rear end swap

I know where there is a 92 or 93 caprice in a yard and I was wondering if there was any way this would be able to swap out for the rear I have now? its a police edition. also would anyone have any idea of what kind of gears it might have?

Caprices came with two versions of the LT1 engine large and small. Externally they are the same. Since you did not mention what car you want to swap any of that stuff in, it hard to say if it will fit or not. The Caprice rear will not fit any Camaro without a lot of fabricating.
