yah the wheel bearings don;t like the bfh very much.
all you had to do was put anti-seize before it rusted.
for some reason nobody does when the car is new!

Exactly - which sucked for me as I got the car used.

the guys that buy them new never want to spend any money taking care of them ... they have to spend alll thier money on payments and insurance usually.
unfortunatly for us old car lovers

Here - the inner face of my front rotor had rusted so much it separated from the outer face:

As far eaten away as those fins were, the rotor was a goner anyway, with or without a BFH. Hitting the rotor to where it separated probably saved your butt on the road. It's called a blessing in disguise.

ya thats bad ive seen worse tho i did the brakes on the back of some pos benz and the rotor was honestly less than 1/8 inch thick the caliper seezed up and ate the sht out of the rotor and there was no pad not even the metal the piston was causing all the damage
