rear defroster

Default rear defroster

i have a 98 camaro and it didnt come equipped with a rear defroster or trunk release does any1 know where i can buy the parts to add these in the car?

welp you need a new rear glass (hatch with glass) run about 200 at a junk yard. thentheswitch and the wiring prolly.

There is no need to replace an entire window just for defogger strips. Call any aftermarket A/C installer and they should be able to install it or tell you who inyourarea can. All they have to do is lay an evenly spaced paper like decalgrid on the window, and hook up a wire to each side. One will go to ground, and the other will go to a relay.

isnt it a law to have a defroster on a rear window if it's a hatchabck, or more than a certain angle?

Idk, is it? I know when my dad is gonna take the rear defoggers off from his 79' Vette before he gets it tinted, so I hope not.

ok im gonna call the ac installers
but for the trunk release all i need is wires running from the trunk to the fuse box and then wires running from the fuse to the button right?
