rattling O2 sensor??
hey just got the camaro back out yesterday and noticed that the O2 sensor was "still" rattling. last summer i got a new muffler & cat (the cat was rattling alot, the catlyist was crumbling) so when i got the new exhaust i noticed that the exhaust still rattled. i brought the car back to the exhaust shop and we put it on the lift and hit the exhaust with our hands to get it to rattle, and it turns out it was the O2 sensor was the issue (when we held it and hit the pipe there was no rattel). the guy at this shop told me that this is common on GM cars, & the only way to fix it was to buy an aftermarket O2 sensor... anyone else have this issue?? it is worse when the car is cold, and only does it sometimes. are there any other options to fix this? and if i need to can i install it on my own??
