I was 17 when i bought the car. I had to save in every way I could and insurance was one way to achieve that. Gotta save for college
Oh AND the Z28 needed work done to it that I absolutely didn't have the money for. I was completely broke after I bought the v6. I wouldn't have had the money to fix the z28. I had alota crap wrong with it. Well... Alota little crap. But all that little stuff added up to like $800 in the end. So the v6 it was lol

Hey, JimmyH, nice to see another lake area member on this board. If money is tight, I'd just get the existing system run straight out the back. Dumping the exhaust early might cause a very irritating drone or rasp in a V6 at higher RPMs. If you have a little money to burn, then a new cat-back system from someone like Borla or Flow Master would be a good option to get a nice sound. I know it's not the most popular option among this crowd, but I installed a Flow Master system a few years ago and the sound is really nice on my 3.8.

Hey Whats Up? Yeah I Was Thinking Of Doing My Exhaust Like My Cousin Did His 5.0 Mustang. Put The Flowmaster In Front Of The Rear Axle And Run The Exhaust Out The Side Right In FRONT Of The Rear Tire On Right Side. Anyone Have Any Thoughts On That?
