Premature front tire wear.

Well I usually take it to a shop or pay someone who knows what they're doing to fix my stuff. However I figured if I learned about it, I could save money by doing the stuff myself.

No worries Chaotic94! They will find something else to try and squeeze that $120 out of ya. Maybe some dirt on your shocks and tell you they need replacing and then you will get the computer printout saying they recommend another $1000 in repairs that you have to sign the bottom declining to save their **** in case something did happen to your car, they have proof they told ya! Heck, it has gotten so bad here, I don't even take the car in for tires, I remove the wheels and haul them over and have the tires mounted and balanced. I'm to the point, I don't trust them to NOT do something to the vehicle just so they can repair it.
I guess I'm trying to say, it is always best to know more about your car than they do before you take it in for repairs.

if i were you id take masseys advice and change the other side too the get an alignment the tierod ends play a major part in keeping your wheels straight also i guarantee if your alignment was perfect its not anymore they use lasers to get everything straight

grab a tape measure and measure from tire to tire on the front and back of the tire as far up the tire as you can get and have a straight shot. should be about 1/8 in less on front. make sure to measure from the same place on the tread, say same hump on the same tread. it would be a good idea to have it aligned as soon as you can afford.

CamaroDreamer I have Fulda z-rated 245/50/r16 tires. They're generic but they're still really sticky. I got mine used on craigslist already mounted on Camaro wheels for $80. The backs haven't worn at all in the last 3 months or so. And I burn my tires alot. So I hope that says something to you lol
And craby, that's the reason I didn't get it aligned lol. I'm completely broke. And now it doesn't matter because my car just got impounded. So I'll worry about that later down the road...

After the alignment, you should be ok if that is all that they found wrong with your Camaro.... And good thing that you counted the threads when you took off the old tie rod ends because then your front tires would be either pointing in or out too far and proceed to wear your tires off the way they were before.
