Default Power Steering Problems after donuts

So i decided to do some donuts in my 02 v6. I did not know the wheel wasn't supposed to be at full lock now my power steering is completely gone. I know i probably burned the pump but nothing is leaking. Would this mean i just have to replace the pump? I know its only like 40 for a used one.

the pumps have a weak relief valve and if you held it hard over the valve was working overtime. i tried the economy type pumps and have replaced them on a annual bases. just picked a acdelco one and am going to see how it lasts. you may have better luck if you can find a good used one.
