Ok, i have a 1995 V6 3.4l Camaro, and for some reason after i had my oil leveling sensor replaced and oil changed, every once and a while my oil pressure will drop to zero when im not giving it gas. It doesnt do it all the time, but its really bugging me. What could the problem be?

OK, I have a 1995 3.4l v6 camaro, and ever since i had my oil leveling sensor replaced and my oil changed, every once and a while my oil pressure guage will drop to zero when im at a complete stop... it doesnt happen everytime i drive the car, but it is getting more frequent. i have checked my oil everyday since it started happening, and its been fine every day. what could be the problem?

Maybe thinner oil was put in compared to what was in there before. How long have you owned the car?

are u using a fram blacktop filter? could be a bad connection at the oil pressure sensor or a bad oil pressure sensor. does the motor make any clicking or clattering when the pressure drops?

Could be something with the oil pressure switch, its right next to the filter and the guy in the pit may have knocked something loose
