Default oil change question

i no your supposed to change your oil every 3,000 miles but how bad is it if you wait longer ? because i was supposed to change it about a 1,000 miles ago . I would have done it sooner but i didnt have the money. So my question is what can happen to my car if i wait to long and how long is too long to wait to change my oil ? Thanx in advance.

the more often you change your oil the longer your motor will last. you can get cheap oil for a dollar a quart and a oil filter is 2 or 3 bucks. you can afford ten bucks now ... come on. a cheap oil change is better than a no oil change. the more your oil breaks down the more metal particals are gonna get in your oil. you wait too long you might as well pour a cup of sand in it. sick

Don't wait too long, it will cause more wear on your engine dude. Buy the stuff and change it yourself, you'll come out a lot cheaper than paying someone to do it.
