New Shifter
I have a 2001 V6 Camaro with a manual 5-speed. I recently found how easy it is to remove the OEM shifter. I am thinking of upgrading to something nicer.
What types of after-market shifters have you guys added?? I am not interested in an increase in faster shifting, just maybe something more fun like a shorter shifter throws.

I have the older style Hurst shifter. I got it off ebay in 09. I do not think they still make them. The new design has the round shaft all the way up.
Don't confuse short throw with short shifter. I have a short throw which sit at the same height as stock. It just has a shorter distance to travel when shifting 1st-2nd. The nest step would be at add a shorty shift to the short throw.
Best thing about the after markets is the have built in stops so if shift to hard/fast you slam the stop in the shifter not the shifting rods or the fork.
