Hey All you camaro dudes. Ive been in love with camaros since ever, and now i got one. its abone stock 1995 3.4. 140,000 miles on it got a sweet deal. it runs ok, but def needs a tune up. it sounds like my moms corrola and just about as much punch.I own a 71 el camino 350 so im looking to muscle up my car to something respectable. any ideas that are reasonably priced? thanks.

 

Well like most people would say "you start with boltons, air intake, headers, exhaust etc....." well thats good advice but if you want power out of your six try finding a used superchared (made by powerdyne). They stoped production of them and are hard to find now[:'(] but worth it if you can. Other than that if you don't plan on much modding try a tuner, go for hptuners or even a bottle. HPTuners is for '97+. Megasquirt would be the next best thing. Bolt-ons first, to make the most of whatever else you get beyond that.

 

ok but how about specifics? I kno my 6 wont come close to my 350, but i want something that will be respectable. whut are specific brands and parts, ive heard on these posts that to stay away from flowmasters and big open well exhaust, as they sound like asain mobiles. how can i get the most american out of it?

Jeeeeeez! I can't believe you guys are going to recommend that he should put a bottle on a 140,000 mile engine! [X(]Just carry a good parts bin in the trunk to put the engine pieces in!
