need a little help, and info...
im not worried about the money or the time. i can buy the regulators and motors on ebay, new, for about $70 bucks each, already got the switches, and im pretty sure wiring it wont be that difficult, just go to the fuse box and a hot...
yes i am well aware of that, i juat want them, theyre nice. and its a 3.8 V6, and i really do not care about your opinon, i just want info on the conversion.
Heres a parts list compliments of camarov6.com:
2 Power window motors
2 power Window switches
2 Power lock switches(If doing locks too)
2 trim pieces for switches
2 lower door panel trim pieces(without hole)
2 wiring harnesses ( some say its already there and some say it isnt)
I would imagine that this conversion wouldn't be too hard except for constricted work space. I'm not sure of what a reasonable cost for doing this conversion is, but maybe this will be helpful.

If you do go through with this project let us know how it goes. I've looked around on a few forums and couldn't find a write up for this procedure and I'm actually kind of curious how difficult this really is. Good luck with the conversion.

Wow you look up the most expensive prices on the web? I just did window motors and autozone prices are nothing close to that and i replaced both... i bought the rebuilt and after returning the cores it was like 75ish a window i think.
The only hard part to swaping this would be the wireing which shouldnt be that difficult and like i said go to a junk yard and get the switches panels and exc and look and see if you have a plug and if you dont cut the one out of the car at the junkyard im shure that they will even throw it in

I find it hard to imagine GM using different glass for a car with power windows.

i needed to know about the wiring harness, i didnt know where to get that, i might try a junk yard first, if its not already there, the switches and everything i already have. im deffinetly going thru with it, ill keep you updated. thanks again for the help.
Well Shawn he said money wasn't an issue... So why not buy the best parts instead of the cheapest right?
And you can just snag a wiring harness from a junked car ya. Should work just fine
