Yup, she was bone stock. I even had a slipping clutch! I do have a 5spd. Is yours automatic? Are you spinning alot off the line? My trap speed was 88mph.

My car didn't wanna break 16.3 when I was at the track, I blame the trans with 200k miles on it.

Socom: I really don't think you'll have an issue with your 93 now! I've seen your "wow!" build! I can't wait to see what it'll do at the track now!

duane18, what are you launching at? You should be launching at 1500 to 2000 RPM. More than that and you'll spin like crazy. You could have a plugged cat or need a tune up. It also depends how hot it was the day you were racing. I hit 16.2 at 80F.

That was at the track recently after the rebuild I think its the old tranny. Oh well it can't hurt to put a new one in with a bigger stall

Yeah man. With your engine set up you should be alot quicker than that. Your rear end is posi with higher gears, so that may slow it down a tad but you should be up in the 14's at least.

Well, I got some engine parts off a junked Firebird. I've noticed with the 3.4L engine that carbon builds up easily and is hard to get rid of. So, tonight I made a date with the sandblaster and cleaned off the throttlebody and upper-intake!
