More Problems.... :(
Got fuel pressure regulator changed yesterday by a mechanic... Well now the car has a loud vacuum leak that wasnt there before he replaced it........ We cant find out where it is it seems like its coming from the back of the engine.... On top of that the codes cant be read from the computer I have tried more than one code reader and nothing is coming up...... Evidently he didnt hook something back up.... ANy ideas????
This pic shows all the vacuum ports on the upper intake manifold.
I can see how a mechanic could screw up the one at the front while doing a fuel pressure regulator. That black "T" is kind of thin and easy to split if you look at it funny.
I don't see how he could screw up the one at the very back, though. Time for a new mechanic?
The nipple at the back is the vacuum connection to the body harness; vacuum operates the HVAC system flaps.
