what maintenance should i take care of right away?
my car is a 1997 w/ 106,000 miles.

These cars and engines are pretty tough, but at 100K miles it is a good idea to replace all rubber parts, belt, hoses etc, ignition wires, spark plugs, change coolant, brake fluid, air and fuel filter, and of course oil and oil filter.
