Default Light miss/sputter at low speed

2001 Camaro, Auto trans, 3800v6, appx 140,000mi. Drives fine, starts fast, but at anything under 10mph still in 1st gear there is a miss. feels like it goes from getting fuel to having none at all, dosnt die just is annoying.

I know the normal routine, Fuel system filth/buildup, fuel filter, pump cutting out.. But im not a gas motor guy much less a camaro guy so if theres anything common on these cars that will cause this i would like to know before i go through everything.

Also tell me alittle about the fuel system, Is the pump in tank or not? Where is the filter? any known problems?

the pump is in the tank and the filter is on the driverside infront of the tank you cant miss it but this doesnt sound like a fuel problem to me sound more like timing like its slightly off any CEL codes (i had a dodge pickup that did the same thing and it was the timing)

Bad spark plugs or bad wires are a usual sign.
