Just got my 1st camaro. But what is this button?

Above the cd player there are 2 switches. one says "SGS" on it and the other has a little design that makes me think its a light but i cant find it. What do these two buttons do? Its a 98 model

Due to the blinding acceleration of the V6 cars, andin order to avoid severe whiplash of the occupants, GM added the Second Gear Start featureto the V6 cars. LOL

Just messing with you, the V6 is a really nice car. But it is weird that the V6 has an option to start in 2nd, and the V8 which could really use it in bad weather, does not.
