Default 2002 Camaro Covertible Dash Panel and Button

Hi, I'm new to the forums. I'm looking for a the convertible dash panel and button that goes above the ash tray. I haven't been able to find any sites that sell them. I've also checked a few of the junk yards in my area and no one seems to have any. What I'm wanting to do is dissect my garage door opener and attach the convertible top button to the "open door" button on my garage door opener. I'm also curious if anyone else has done this. If anyone could offer any help it'd be greatly appreciated.

No, what I'm trying to do is use the convertible button as a garage door opener. I have a hardtop camaro, but I want to install the dash piece and button from a convertible. Then turn it into a built in garage door opener. Like what luxury cars have.

You know there are two more button holes under the "Camaro" dash plaque.

Hmm I wasn't aware of this. I'm not really sure I wanna lose my 35th Anniversary Plaque though. I did find the bezel for the convertible top. I found it on Ecklers, I just have to find a button now. http://www.ecklerscamaro.com/product...6&dept_id=1635
