Secondly you say remove the ridges in the top of the air lid? Will it really help that much because to me it looks like they control the flow of air to the inlet...

Thirdly when I remove the intake silencer thingy what do you recommend replacing it with that will hold the sensor and smooth out the tube? I hope you guys can help!! Thanks.

Yes, take the ridges out. Doesn't look like they do squat anyways. Those things circled look like silencers.
