Default Intake manifold swap?

I’m swapping engines, I’m trying to put a 2000 3.8l series 2 into a 96. Can I interchange the upper intake manifold from the 96 engine to the 2000 engine? I read the sticky on swapping engines but all it said was there’s a change to accommodate the TBW but the 96 is TBC, any help or information regarding this swap would be greatly appreciated

then it should be fine. change the lower intake gasket no matter what, that is a common fail point. if antifreeze is not changed for long time, it can eat the lower gasket causing coolant to get into oil which once heated after mixing with oil turns to acid that eats bearings.
