So I am getting the 1361 and 1362 code. I have had the ICM tested and it has passed. So I am about to disconnect the ICM and ECU and follow the flow chart on testing things. It says to probe the IC Timing Control Circuit. I am unaware to the location of this and knowing that u r searching for ground, I dont wanna start probing terminals with a hot lead and short something out.

The issue is the car engine is just ''farting'' on me. Meaning its like a skip,Always at low RPMS, never a misfire code, usually when I release clutch into first, it farts, or when i am increasing speed at low RPM range. The tach will tend to increase in RPMs but engine doesnt, it kind of spikes real quick, then back down, all this at the same time of ''fart'', almost like when u have a bad ground and ur guage needles fluctuate, The engine speed sometimes doesnt depressing clutch drop, going from 3-4th the RPMS dont decrease for a sec or two, the just stay at current RPM level, but eventually drop down to netural idle speed..

Sounds like a def electrical issue. N e help would be much appreciated.

 

You computer system is a 5 volt system. When seaching for ground it is best to diconnect the power and use the ohm meter but any computer grade volt meter has enough impedance that they will not hurt the computer even if you screw up completely with the termenals.

 

Also check all wiring from the icm to the PCM. I had this problem shortly after buying my camaro and it turned out to be a damaged wire.
