I need so advice about a 1995 Camaro 3.4L V6
To start off with my Camaro runs a little warm. It eats antifreeze up. I pretty much have to refill every 2 weeks. I have not noticed a loss in power from my engine but I think my heads are in trouble. Are my heads in trouble? I can't trust the mechanics around where I live...
Other than that, what are some great recommendations for getting the most out of the 3.4L? I do have a cold air intake on it, and I have a Flowmaster exaust system on the car also. I am assuming I have about 180-200 hp. But I would like a bit more. What do you professionals recommend without replacing the engine with a 350?
Keep in mind my Camaro has 170000 miles on it and that it is also a 5spd.

Do a compression test & check for a possible blown gasket, or have the coolant tested for the presence of combustion gases, and look for coolant leaks.
There is a sticky in the V6 section on how to modify the 3.4.

Put on a Prestone Flush-Kit and do a flush, and delete your Cat, unless you have emissions considerations... Then consider a high-flow Cat. Switch to Full Synthetic oil (any brand), and switch to Dexron 6 (not 4) for the trans.
