I have a 98 v6 and i need to flush my coolent system how how anitfreeze does the car take?

 

According to my Hayne's manual, it's 12 quarts.

 

My owners manual says 2.85 gallons, but I'll be a monkey's uncle if I can get that much in. I've flushed mine twice and can never get more than 2 gallons in, and that's cycling the engine over and bleeding off the valve too.

 

The owners manual also counts your overflow tank (which holds the better part of a gallon). The radiator and system itself takes just under 2 gallons to fill.

 

mine will barely take 1 =P but my radiator is shot so.
