Default Low coolent light on

I own a 94 z28 and the low coolent light is on but its dim. I check the fluid level frequently but it is good and my temp stays at a good temp. What could be making it do that and what can i do to make it go off

ive had mine over 3 years and it comes on a lot for no reason, you just have to learn to ignore it if you know the coolant is full

Same here. Check it frequently even changed the sensor comes on all the time. I just make sure I check the level on a regular basis and don't let the temp get to high

The level sensor in the radiator gets crudded up and starts acting up. You can remove and give it a good cleaning and put it back to see if the problem stops. Otherwise you can put in a new sensor, or just short toghether the two wires going to the sensor.

quoted for truth. Bypass the damn thing and just keep performing your under hood fluid checks.
