Actually, the stock rods will do fine with my boost ideas, and porting the heads isn't a big deal with f/i. Pistons would need to be stronger, yes. A blower cam, springs, etc. would be a good idea, but I can't afford all that.

As for the holden, there's going to be a lot of tuning to do, as with the s/c. Power gains would be comparible. I'm limited to 300 horses, otherwise I'm going to start having severe transmission problems.

Whatever I do, it will be the last of my performance mods. Otherwise it's going to take another $4000 (rear end, tranny) to make more power. After this next round of mods (wheels, tires, suspension, engine), I'm probably going to have more money into this thing that the car would be worth.

I forgot that you had a T5 lol. I'd still go with option 1 =D I'd prefer to say I had 300 HP WITHOUT a blower =P

But a gear driven blower screaming under the hood is very tempting too

Haha very true. I have an auto so I'd have more reason to make huge power with a blower =P Just gonna stick with my bolt ons for now... Not even gonna cam it. Go a more special project going on (Nudges ninetysixyenko and Specter)
