hgh idle

Default hgh idle

hey guys looking fosoe help with my 97 camao rs just did a swap with a 99 motor still v6 changed verythig just got it running today with the help of a few guys on here so hoping i can get a lil more help.


i made sure all the sensors are conected im not getting any codes but when it starts it idles at 3500 rpms i check the throttle to make sure the cable was not pulling it back and i unpluged the m.a.f sensor it idled lower but started to surge any ideas would be helpfull

When this happened to my car. ( after intake swap ) it took about a week for it to stop. I think some dirt might of got on the sensors from having my hands in there and it must of burned off. But mine did not idle that high. Try to clean the throttle wire if you had your fingers all over it. I'm no expert but that's all I got

the only thing i removed was the sensor on the back passenger side of the intake the one with the torques in it
