Default Help No Fuel

This is my 1st post please be kind......

I have a 94 camaro with 3.4 and 5 speed. I started changing the water pump a couple a months ago and got side tracked. Came back and finished up last week, problem is now no fuel. THe battery was dissconnected the whole time. It had a low charge so I replaced it, I have also replaced the fuel pump relay. I can squirt a little gas in the intake and it will crank for a few seconds. Best I can tell the fuel pump is not running. I do not hear it and when press in the pressure relief on the intake there is no fuel. The relay clicks when I turn on the key then a few seconds later clicks again a little louder that time. I read somewhere about a fuel pump cut off if the car was in a accident, is this sensor I could have bumped while changing the water pump? Is it something that can be reset? I was going to go ahead and pull the tank and replace the pump. But I wanted to see if I could find out more before doing this. I have the Chilton and Hayes books but they are vauge on this. Any help would be great. Thanks Mike

Can you actually hear the fuel pump run before trying to start?

There is no fuel pump cut off in these cars. Check the fuel pressure, if bad it could be the pump, the regulator, or no power to the pump. Power the pump directly by putting 12 volt from battery to the test connector near the right front fender. If pump still does not work it is probably bad or the wiring to the pump is bad. Also check fuel filter, and make sure there is gas in the tank.

Gas in the tank was my first thought, but I decided to give the guy some credit.
