Default Which Headers: 95 3.4L Camaro?

Hi all, to those who have added headers on a 3.4L Camaro, which would you choose for a 95? Is the ceramic coating worth it? Are headers even worth it on a 3.4L? What HP benefit is reasonable over stock with a Flo-Pro muffler, high-flow Cat, and SLP CAI?

Thanks!

I just got an pacesetter with cold intake from under my car ( bottom front nose ) and ithelp out so much better then the other ones... Think about it, I made it my all by myself & not wasting 100-200 for an cold air...

I did notice a pretty noticable difference in horsepower increase after having my Pacesetter headers and Magnaflow dual exhaust installed with a high flow cat. The lessons that I have learned from the experience are: 1. Have a highly experienced exhaust mechanic install your new exhaust from a highly reputable place, that preferrably deal with lots of camaros, and have it all welded together (except for maybe the headers to the y-pipe, so you can get to the starter and other things easier) not just bolted together, it cuts down on exhaust leaks and just plain old coming apart. 2. Consider the fact that your headers probably won't come with a smog pump connection which willfail you on emissions testing (California, Texas), which is what I'm going through right now. 3. Make sure you go with a quality high flow cat, and make sure your exhaust is the same width from the cat on back, you don't want bottlenecks. 4.Ceramic coating is worth it, the painted ones aren't painted for long after it burns off and you think your engine is on fire, then gets the rust finish soon after that. 5.Buy some aftermarket header gaskets that are metal, my paper-like ones wore out quick and caused exhaust leaks. 6. Get a cold air intake, I like my K&N but the filter keeps falling off of the piping. 7. I am trying to find some headers with the smog pump hook up without having to fabricate one onto it, I have 2 call and see if they come with it installed now. If so, I'm upgraded to the ceramic coated headers.

Can't you either get an emulator for the smog pump "feature", or delete the related sensor codes from the computer? That's what some shops do...

Also what year and size engine do you have? 3.4L?

I don't know if there is an emulator for the smog pump, but I do know that it is obvious when it isn't hooked up to the headers, and is highly noticable to any California smog inspector. Also, last I checked they don't sell a computer engine management attachment like the 3.8L or 5.7L camaros, so the check engine light is most likely going to stay on. There might bea way around that, I have to talk to some experts myself.
