It is really hard to turn my steering wheel left or right while driving and it is not steering wheel fluid (I literally get a workout while driving lol). I'm guessing some sord of pump or something? It's been like this for along time now cause I been unemployed for 6 months so it was hard to maintenance my Camaro but I just recently got hired. Anyone know what exactly the issue is and is it dangerous to leave it like that?

 

Very hard to tell what exactly is the problem from a distance, but some good possibilities are: bad power steering pump, slipping belt, bad steering rack, bad suspension & steering parts, low tire pressure, really bad wheel alignment.

 

Damn, most likely the steering pump cause someone I know had the same problem and it was the steering pump. What's a estimate on that?

 

i replaced one for 100 on my 94 2 years back
