Good readings for Fuel Trim
A lot of posts on codes P0171 and P0174. I get the idea that the computer is trying to compensate for a "too lean" condition. But what I never can seem to find is what are "good" readings when looking at the scan tool? 2001 Camaro, 3.8L
Just had a new fuel pump and filter replaced to the tune of $1200. 2 hours later check engine light. While it is probably going back to the shop, I would like to know what I am looking at. Don't want to throw another $250 at it, yet.
ST FTRM 1 & 2 Vary with RPM
LT FTRM 1 & 2 = 19.5 Constant with changing RPM
Seems odd that LT never changes.
Going to hunting for a vacuum leak as soon as engine cools off. Meanwhile, any ideas on the Fuel Trim readings?
Or if you know the "normal" ranges for any readings such as Absolute, MAP, IAT, etc. postem' up.
Oh, I forgot, I live in AZ altitude here is 2000 feet.
