looking to put 3.73 gears+aftermarket posi. any warnings and will i burn any sensers in the tranny?

 

What year is your car? You might have to change the speedo gears if you have an older one or reprogram the computer. It won't burn out any sensors, just be sure if your car has ABS you put the toner wheel back in.

i wouldn't think so...you could always get a stock auburn/torsen LSD

Toner wheel is attatched between the carrier and the ring gear. There is a sensor on the differential housing if you have ABS and that reads the wheel to detect the speed of the wheels. If there is a rapid velocity change, it'll kick ABS in. And that is 3 channel ABS system.

 

The only thing you are going to be burning is more gas, and maybe your tires. lol

gears are worth it...you'll see better improvement than most bolt ons

i drove my buddies that had 3.08's...and I have the 3.42's and I could notice mine was quicker
