Default Fuel pump relay

Hey guys, I'm going to change my fuel filter and was told to take out the fuel pump relay and let the car die on its own to depressurize the fuel line. The problem is that i don't know where its located on my 97 v6.

I looked at the relay box under the hood and all i see is a couple of fuses and relays marked B through J and was wondering with one it was?

Does anybody know which one it is?

Thank you for your time

i just changed mine today, 114,800 miles on the stock filter and when i dumped it out it looked like coffee... it made 2 worlds of difference, almost 1-1/2 times the acceleration

If you let the car sit for a period of time the fuel system will depressurize on its own. Yes a new fuel filter could really change the way the car runs.

Thanks!

The instal went smooth and did not leak very much. Noticed an immediate difference and feels more responsive.
