First Camaro..dont know what wrong with it...
I did a search but couldn't really find anything so i will describe it as best as i can.
I havent ever owned a camaro before so i dont know if this is normal or not for these types of cars.
It is a 3.4 automatic. Between the ranges of around 3700-redline it acts like it is hitting a rev limitor but keeps on reving and lacks alot of power until it shifts. I havent ever had a car do this before. Also.
When the car is first started and is idling the oil pressure stays around 75 but after you start driving a second it drops to around 40 when no gas is being gave. Is that normal? I know i still need to change the plugs, the wires still look like their in good shape though but i will probably change them anways also.
Any input is appreciated as i would like to get this car running half decent. Thanks in advance.

idk about the rev thing. the oil pressure thing happened to my first Camaro at first (when it was right around 100k miles), but it apparently corrected itself after a little while.

another thing. Every so often it will spit some water out of the end of the exaust and on concrete you can see two different places from the dual exause. What would make this happen cuz once again i have never heard of a car doing that.

Water can get into your motor by the air it breaths by the fuel or by the coolant system. If it is coolant normal you will get a hint of odor and maybe some color (green or orange ) around the tip of the pipe. Moisture will also build up in the exhause if you drive short runs (less then 20 minutes). If you are do a lot of short runs you should let the car warm up atlease once a week for 20-30 minutes.

I have changed the fuel filter, whoever had it before me cut the cat off and is straight piped to flowmaster (I think), And I also took off the air filter box (I know thats not safe) and drove it for a second and it still did the same thing.
I took it to advance to have them scan it on the computer but something is messed up and wont let it scan. He said it runs off the cigarate lighter and i have checked all the fuses, but cant seem to get the lighter to work.

when scanning my 95 i also have to have the scanner plugged into lighter.my lighter works but my scanner also came with a lighter socket with battery clamps.you might just need a lighter socket, then they can scan it
