exhaust manifold help needed

Default exhaust manifold help needed

i was taking the transmission out of the car yesterday and i broke the bolts that connect the exhaust manifolds to the Y-pipe. any suggestions on how to remove those broken bolts? how do you remove and install headers/exhaust manifolds? i have a 2000 3.8l Thanks

I did the same thing to mine, on both sides. I am just going to replace them with new ones, or you can drill them out and retap them, good luck..

I had two brake off on me I heated one of them with the torch and was able to grab it with vise grips and remove it. The other one I drilled out to 5/16 hole and installed bolt washers and stove nut. Nylon lock nut will not work the nylon will melt out.
