Default Exhaust Labor

Does anyone have a rough idea of how much a muffler shop charges to weld a few parts on? I came across a few ads for z28 cat-backs and am debating going to grab one now. They were cut when removed so its gonna take some welding. I want to make sure its worth it before I go purchase the cat-back. Thanks in advance.

You going to have to call around. Some places will not even mess with used parts or even new parts they do not supply. Most places will not even give you a hard quote. They will say I think that is going to be $45 but it will be time and material. Which means if it takes 45 minute you pay 45 minutes at shop rate, if it takes an hour and so on.

Even in the worst case if you have everything all ready to weld it will not be much. If they have to do any fitting or preping of the material the cost will add up quick.
