Engine problem.

if you have a service engine soon light on, go get it scanned. it will give you codes that will help us narrow what you need to fix

The check engine light isnt on, yet lol.

if its backfireing u should have codes. tripple check all your wires to make sure there in the right places and look for any that could have been overlooked. it may be a oil pressure sensor that unhooked.

Odd that you say that, I just recently replaced the oil pressure sensor. I'll double check all the wires also.

Thats really not a good sign. I not saying thats whats wrong but if a valve is not seating right the result would be backfiring
