The issue I am having is very odd...

The engine at Wide Open Throttle (WOT) will not rev past about 3000rpm. I can nurse the throttle up to redline if I do it very carefully and lightly on the peddle.

Have replaced the Fuel Filter
Have checked the TPS and MAP with a voltmeter
Idles Good

Hello!

I understand your information and get the fault code retrieved - if it's lean, replace the fuel filter. If the problem continues, have the fuel pressure checked and moreover,plug wires are in bad condition.

 

Fuel filter has been replaced, and it cant be the plugs or wires, or it would NEVER reach redline. I can be very soft on the gas peddle and ease it to redline. Its just under WOT that I have this problem.

 

Dude, none of those problems would cause this situation that he is having. I'm thinking either TPS sensor or something to do with the intake. I don't know much about the 3rd Gens. I'm a LS1 guy, but that's where I would start. Either TPS Sensor or something else in the intake like MAF or something.
