Ok, so has anyone else have the problem of when your camaro ages the dashboard begins to crack? because mine has in my 93 and my dads started to before he sold it and bought an 06 GTO and his was a 97.

 

Hey Camaro 93, I do have your problem with the cracked dash.I have a 94 Camaro and mine has cracked into 3 puieces on the passenger side. When and if I get my "car shuts off for no apparent reason" problem fixed I am going to go to my local window tinting / sound place and have them order a plastic dash that is glued over the top of the cracked one. I think they look better than the carpet dash protectors but they do cost about $300.00 . That includes installation. They also have a lifetime gurantee on their work. If anyone else has ever gotten one of these and it warped or turned out crappy please respond. I priced a new dash at the Chevy dealership and it was $500. for the dash and that didn't include installation, Good luck

 

well since you live in florida NAV CITY, cars exposed to more sunlight will dry the dash out, and it will crack, i have a 94 and the dash still looks perfect, i keep my car in a garage, so as with any car you should invest in a car cover or sumthin.

 

Hey Camaro 93, Is your dash cracked on just the top portion? I verified that $500.00 "Quote " that someone else gave to me yesterday when I was in for a Tech 2 diagnostic on my 94 and come to find out you can get just the top portion for $223.00 , That does not include installation. Add another $100.00 for installation. It is s $500.00 to replace the entire dash. This comes out to about the same price I told you for the window tinting place, with installation added in. I would rather go thru the Chevy place if the price is the same. I am from Ga. and the sun beats pretty much as harsh here.Good luck to you and yours......
