Default HELP - Dash Board '69 Z28

I am in the process of restoring a Z-28 302ci. I purchased a dash insert from Classic Industries. When I received it it came with three kinds of unique clips. Although I have an Assembly Guide for the car it only shows where one of the sets of clips go. although Classic Industries sells the dash, they were of NO HELP as to where the clips install.

Does anyone know where the other two kinds of clips go? [IMG][/IMG]

#1 looks like a underdash clip for a rear window defrost, #2...never seen.

Could it be possible they sent you clips to fit all styles of dash, those with certain options and those without?

Does your dash have those clips anywhere?

Some dash panels didn't have certain items if memory serves.

No, the clips do go on the dash. I removed a set them from the old dash and just forgot where they went. I can't believe I did that.

So the clips are correct one for the dash ...I am just trying to find out where they go.

Thanks anyway.

Neat rides!

There are 2 of those #1 clips that hold the speedo assembly to the dash carrier on '67 and '68 Camaro's. They snap on to the 2 little projections in the lower left and right side of the speedo ***'y. The screws just screw into these clips.
