Hi I have a 2001 v-6 Camaro
and I am wanting to put cutouts on it.
Can you tell me how much they will cost?
and how much horsepower would that add?

 

Why do a mod if you haven't researched it? You would only need one also.

There are your prices. The inlet to the cat is 3'. So I would get that size for ease of install. There are electric or mechanical ones. Electric let you open from inside the car. Mechanical are cheaper, but you have to get under the car to open it. I personally don't think that it would sound well, and the power gained would not be worth it. Just my opinion though.

 

So you don't think it will sound good?
I mean i don't want it sounding like a ricer
what could i do to add good sound and power

Exhaust setup was: Pacesetter headers, 2.5" H pipe, 2.5" intermediate pipes, 3" Borla XR-1 mufflers, 3" dumps at axle

 

Check youtube for sound clips of those with cutouts.
