i know this question might have been answer before. but where do i find the crankshaft sensor?? you see when i first got my 96 camaro v6 3.8L, the previous owner said that the Crankshaft sensor need to be replace. yes my car has a starter problem, I bought the Crankshaft Sensor and tried looking for it under my car but i can't find it. and i dont want to take parts apart without knowing where the sensor really is. i did some research online but still no luck. please help... thanks a mil

 

iirc i think it is behind the harmonic balancer.

 

You will have to remove the harmonic balancer to get at it. You can see the plug for the wiring just behind the front of the balancer on the drivers side.
