Hi I'm posting this for a friend who has a 1997 Camaro 3.8. The engine sputters alittle then dies. the SEL. came on so we took it to Auto Zone and they told us that it was the crank sensor. but befor the SEL came on only the securty light was on. I saw in an older post that somebody had the securty light on and everybody said that it was the rester in the key. Will that rester cause the car to sputter then shut off.
