is the crank pulley on the v6 the same as the crank pulley on the v8's? just wondering if i get an slp underdrive crank pulley for the ls1 engine will it work on my v6 or not?

There is a parts manual for download on the sticky at the top of the 4th gen forum. You can look up the part numbers and see if they match. I would be very surprised if they are the same considering the 3800 was design a decade before the LS1 and the 3800 has the Oil pump right at the damper. As a general rule Vibration dampers are per engine.
