Default corvette parts on a camaro?

I heard of people swapping like corvette 02 sensors in different cars to make the air and fuel curve higher. If i did that with my cold air forced induction, and if i got a set of 3.8 series 2 fuel injectors would that work. If the sensor is telling more air and fuel, i got the more air and more fuel. Result in more power or atleast a good baseline for more power?

A sensor is simply that.....a sensor. It senses the oxygen in the exhaust and feeds that information to the computer, The computer makes the decision on how much fuel is required to get the proper air / fuel ratio. If I'm wrong, someone correct Me on this.

You are correct bill. All they do is count the oxygen. The different part numbers are for the thread size and the connectors.

That's why they can have universal ones.

Uncle Bill is right on. The computer decides what to do with the data from the O2 sensor. All O2 sensors do, is to idicate how far the A/F mix deviates from stoich by measuring the oxygen content in the exhaust. Regardeless of what car they are fromproduce the same voltage changes for the same deviation.
Also keep in mind that at WOT the computer drops out of closed loop and relies on the MAF or MAP sensors and callson pre-programmed A/F maps and advance curves for engine management, and does not care what the O2 sensors are doing.

If you want to alter the A/F ratio you need to reprogram the PCM.
