Default Corvette vs. Camaro LS1

Got an LS1 from a 2000 corvette that i'm swapping into my 99 z28... am finding out that many parts (oil pan) don't fit properly.. my mechanic told me these parts also will not work, can anyone confirm it for me before i go out shopping for camaro/firebird LS1 parts?
Thanks:

front pulley
> fuel rails
> harness and computer
> maf and maf tube intake system
> throttle body

fuel rails should be same ls1 to ls1. I have ls6 and fuel rail from a Z06 corvette.
The throttle body WILL be different if the corvette one is ELECTRONIC and not CABLE (depends on which EFU you are using vette one is for electonic and camaro one is for cable)
Maf should be same but the intake tube bit on Vette is different to camaro. You'll need a camaro bellow and lid and filter
Im not sure about the harmess but the comp might NOT work with camaro stuff?

Does the camaro not have a harness and ECU already? (i dont ubderstand which one you want to use) if it does then all the connectors and plugs to the engine should match up and you just need to convert to the cable throttle and get the intake system

That being said, you should be able to swap the stuff off the '99 LS1 to the 'Vette's motor...

the mechanic is right. The Corvette uses TBW system and it's computer will not work in your car. The engine will need to be Camaro'd in order to work and you will need to have the PCM in your car tuned to the Corvette engine. A Z28 engine will donate all the pulleys and brackets needed to make the swap happen, the Z wiring will need to be used as well. Things like sensors should be the same and I would use the Camaro MAF since it is designed to fit in the Camaro intake system. There is not much different in the internal workings of the Corvette and Camaro MAF sensors just the body they were put in is different. Fuel rails should be fine if they will mate to the fuel lines in the car.

BTW what kind of Camaro is getting the Corvette engine? Please tell me you are swapping LS1 for LS1 and not a V6 for LS1 without getting a complete doner car.
