Hi I am looking to get a new 'fun car' to replace my old 1990 firebird (213,000 miles)
i ws thinking about an older C5 corvette 1999 or 2000 but am leaning towards a 2002 SS.
for performance how does an SS 5.7L Auto compare to a 5.7L corvette?

any known problems with the 2002 SS'

 

Well we all know chevy's motto " Camaro will never be faster than Corvette" the vette has 30 more Hp 10 more torque better gearing and dont forget its about 400lbs lighter so its kinda hard I've driven both and im partial to the vette but the Camaro is much cheaper and it can be modded to reach Vette levels and beyond for the cash you'll save.

 

get the camaro, bolt on a paxton, and you will have no trouble hurting any stock vette's feelings. Plus you will have saved LOTS of money
